Houston, TX – March 31, 2020 – INOVUES, an award-winning window technology startup focused on non-intrusive building upgrades and energy efficiency retrofits, announced today that former Engineering Consultant Alex King has joined INOVUES as Director of Projects & Engineering.
Alex, a licensed Professional Engineer and a building envelope specialist, is joining INOVUES from Kinestral Technologies, the developer and manufacturer of Halio® smart-tinting glass, where he was Senior Product Manager. Alex will be bringing nearly 15 years of experience in different areas of the building and glazing industries to help advance and commercialize INOVUES’ patented and field-proven Glazing Shield™ technology for existing buildings in North America and beyond.
Alex has built a unique multidisciplinary career with different major players in the industry. Prior to Kinestral Technologies, he held multiple engineering and sales roles at JORDAHL, a global building products company, Steel Encounters, a specialty glazing contractor, and Curtainwall Design & Consulting (CDC), a leading facade engineering consultant. Alex has a Master of Engineering degree in structures and applied mechanics from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Mexico along with an MBA from the University of Utah.
